The updated chart illustrates Near East University’s global research collaboration network for July–September 2025, derived from Scopus-indexed publications. It highlights the university’s expanding global engagement and sustained commitment to interdisciplinary academic cooperation across continents.
During this three-month period, Türkiye remained Near East University’s leading research partner with 157 joint publications, marking a significant increase from the previous cycle. Strong collaborations also continued with Pakistan (41) and India (31), reinforcing the university’s strategic academic ties with South Asia and its surrounding region.
Further major partnerships were recorded with Saudi Arabia (30), Azerbaijan (28), Cyprus (26), China (25), and South Korea (25)—reflecting the university’s growing influence across both Asia and the Eastern Mediterranean. Notably, the United States (21) and Iran (20) also ranked among the top collaborators, emphasizing Near East University’s multidisciplinary and globally connected research ecosystem.
European partners continued to play a vital role, particularly Poland (17), the United Kingdom (16), Italy (12), and Germany (11), alongside regional and continental collaborations with Jordan (15), Malaysia (14), Thailand (13), and the United Arab Emirates (13).
Additional partnerships extended to countries such as the Netherlands, Russian Federation, South Africa, and Egypt, each contributing between 9 and 11 co-authored publications.
In total, Near East University collaborated with researchers from 110 countries during this quarter—maintaining its global academic reach while deepening partnerships across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, and the Americas. New or strengthened collaborations were observed with institutions in Australia, Japan, Ghana, Ethiopia, Canada, and Vietnam, among others.
This growing international research footprint reflects Near East University’s mission to foster high-impact, interdisciplinary scholarship through global cooperation. By cultivating diverse academic connections and joint initiatives, the university continues to advance collective innovation and contribute meaningfully to addressing shared global challenges through science and knowledge exchange.
