Near East University: Global Collaboration Highlights (January–March 2026)

The visualization above presents Near East University’s global research collaboration network based on publications indexed in the Scopus database during the first quarter of 2026. Reflecting the university’s growing international research reach, these collaborations span a remarkable range of countries and regions, demonstrating strong engagement in multidisciplinary and globally connected scholarship.

During this period, the highest levels of collaboration were recorded with Türkiye (290 publications), Cyprus (139), India (89), Pakistan (86), and Saudi Arabia (84), followed by strong partnerships with Azerbaijan, China, South Korea, Poland, Jordan, and many others. Extending across Europe and Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, North America, and Latin America and the Caribbean, this broad network highlights the diversity and scale of Near East University’s international scientific partnerships. With collaborations involving more than 100 countries, the network reflects both regional strength and a truly global research presence.

These collaborations contribute not only to increased scientific productivity and impact, but also to the exchange of knowledge, interdisciplinary innovation, and the development of solutions to global challenges. As a research-intensive institution, Near East University continues to strengthen international academic partnerships and expand its contribution to the global scientific community.
